Community is the foundation of your journey, therefore you form a small group together with six to eight other questors and two mentors. 
You will meet once a week for six weeks at scheduled intervals. You and your group will move through the entire Spirit Quest together.
During your journey you are required to achieve certain goals, as an individual, together with your family, and together with your group.
For each achievement that is asked of you, there is a Saint whom you can ask to pray for you and whose wisdom is available to you. 
When you have achieved a particular goal, you will receive a medal of that Saint as a sign of your achievement. 
The journey is traveled at your personal speed.  Each individual, family and small group chooses when and how to achieve the goals.
