Spirit Quest is alive and well in our Parish! It is a new program designed by a team from our own Parish. It is an effective way for Teenagers to embrace, enjoy and wrestle with their faith with the support of their parents and their mentors.
Spirit Quest is a program built on the Four Pillars of the Spiritual Life: Prayer, Community, Study and Service.
This is what some of the participants say about their Spirit Quest experiences:
- “Working in a smaller group of kids my age makes me feel more comfortable sharing my thoughts and questions about God.”

September 30: 7:00-8:00p.m. Confirmatio Meeting
In Healy Hall. A Parent, (or Sponsor), and Child to be Confirmed must attend this meeting.
October 3: 6:00-9:00pm Confirmandi and Mentors Mini-Retreat
Beginning October 1: Small Groups meet once per week for a total of ten Sessions according to the Mentors’ Calendars.
Saturday, November 7: Deadline for all paperwork and fees to be turned in to Parish Office (you will receive the particulars in your Confirmation Packet on September 30)
Saturday, December 12: Confirmation retreat
Sacrament of Reconciliation. Those who are to be Confirmed are asked to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation as part of their preparation for this important Sacrament.
TBD: PRACTICE for Confirmation. Those to be confirmed must attend with their Sponsor. Saint Patrick Church from 6:15pm-7:15pm.
TBD: SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION followed by Reception in the Parish Hall. Confirmandi and Sponsors meet in Healy Hall at 1:20pm. Mass begins at 2:00pm.
NOTE:
The church will be very full with one half-pew assigned to each
family. There will be a reception immediately following the Mass. Estimated time of completion: 4:30pm.
DRESS: Girls and boys should dress for a special occasion.
“Dressy”. No spaghetti straps. Not too short. No athletic shoes.
